I was born and raised in Rowan County. I attended East Rowan High School where I cheered on the Mustangs during my JV and Varsity years. 

 

Before moving to Faith, I taught 3rd grade for 5 years in Cabarrus County. This is my 4th year at Faith Elementary.  I taught 3rd grade for the first two years and this is my second year teaching 2nd grade! I love being a Faith Firecracker!

 

            I graduated from UNC-Charlotte in May 2008 with a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education and in December 2012 with a Master of Arts in Curriculum and Supervision.

 

Some of my hobbies are running and cycling, reading, making crafts on my silhouette machine, and spending time with my husband and son. I am a cat mom to a spunky polydactyl, Colby Jack. I enjoy vacationing at the beach on Hilton Head Island, South Carolina each summer.

 

On May 2, 2016 my husband and I welcomed our first son, Hudson, into our family. He is such a precious little boy. He loves to laugh and is already so active at an early age. I love being a mom!

 

              I hope you are just as excited, as I am, to begin a great year at Faith! I am excited to get to know more about you throughout the year as we grow and learn together in 2nd grade!
